The ministry was publicly commissioned on August 24th 2001. Prior to then, we had held fellowship in a living room between December 24 2000 and February 2001. In February 2001, the fellowship then moved to a rented community hall in Mende, Maryland.
In a miraculous way, the Lord provided a parcel of land on lease for the church in May 2001 and by June we began to hold our meetings in the open ground. The same leased parcel of land has now become the property of the ministry having been sold to us in June 2004.
The fellowship meeting in the living room started with eleven (11) persons (children inclusive). Without any public address system, posters, cards or announcement the vision began with great zeal. Eternity began to notice a new movement of people – a going church for a coming Lord.
The ministry has experienced both spiritual and numerical growth. Apart from the Headquarter church, we have also pioneered fresh work in Festac Town and Ikorodu Town.
The church presently has missionaries serving in different parts of Nigeria and Africa especially among the unreached people groups.
